⚙️ Workspace Settings
Accessing Settings
To access workspace settings:
- Go to the Manage section from the left sidebar
- Click on Workspace
You'll see five configuration tabs. This page covers the General and Fields tabs.
🛠️ General Settings
This tab lets you define your workspace's identity and branding. Keeping your workspace properly named and visually distinguished helps streamline communication and supports your brand's presence within the platform.
You can:
-
Change the Workspace Name: Update the name that appears throughout Wraft. This is particularly useful when naming workspaces based on departments, teams, or clients. A clear name improves navigation and reduces confusion.
-
Upload a Workspace Display Picture (DP): Add a logo or representative image to visually distinguish the workspace. This image will appear in the workspace selector and headers, helping identify your workspace at a glance.
-
Delete Workspace: If the workspace is no longer needed, you can permanently delete it. Deleting a workspace removes all associated documents, templates, and user configurations.
🚨 Danger: Warning: Deleting a workspace is irreversible. Ensure that no critical data will be lost before proceeding.
📝 Workspace Fields
The Fields tab allows you to define and store essential organizational metadata. These fields enhance automation and dynamic content generation within your templates and documents.
Add important details such as:
- Legal Name: The official name of your organization used in formal documents
- Address: The company's physical or registered address. Often used in headers or signature sections
- Phone Number: A contact number that may be embedded in letters, contracts, or other documents
- Email ID: The official email address for communication or to be used in correspondence templates
How Fields Work
These fields act as reusable data points. You can reference them using the @
command in templates, saving time and maintaining consistency across all generated content.
ℹ️ Info: Tip: Keeping these fields updated ensures that all templates reflect accurate and current organizational information.
Best Practices
- Use descriptive workspace names that clearly indicate the workspace's purpose
- Keep organizational fields up-to-date to ensure accuracy across all documents
- Upload a recognizable workspace image for easy identification
- Regularly review settings to ensure they align with your current organizational structure
