Create visual themes and typography for your documents

🎨 Themes

Overview

Themes in Wraft help define the visual identity and branding of your final documents. By creating custom themes, you can maintain consistency across all generated documents in terms of fonts and stylistic appearance. Themes are especially useful when your organization has strict brand guidelines that need to be reflected in your documentation.

A theme primarily focuses on the typography used in documents — allowing you to upload and apply custom fonts that align with your brand. Once a theme is applied, every document that uses it will inherit the visual settings, ensuring uniformity and professionalism.

â„šī¸ Info: Applying themes is a non-intrusive way to enforce branding across multiple document types without manual editing.

How Themes Work

Once a theme is created:

  • It becomes available as a selectable option while creating or editing Variants
  • The chosen theme automatically applies its font settings to the final generated document
  • This ensures that the look and feel of every document remains visually consistent, regardless of who created it

✅ Success: Themes allow you to separate content creation from design concerns, making document workflows more scalable and manageable.

Use Case Examples

  • A marketing team may use a custom theme to ensure all outbound proposals use their branded font
  • The legal department could apply a different theme to ensure formality and alignment with corporate style guides

Best Practices

  • Use descriptive names for your themes to make them easy to identify
  • Limit the number of themes in use to ensure brand consistency
  • Regularly review your themes to update fonts or deprecate outdated styles
